Peter Saul is well regarded for his important work on end of life care and advance care planning.

Bio
Peter Saul is a senior specialist in intensive care at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, and Director of Intensive Care at Newcastle Private Hospital. He is a founder of the Clinical Unit in Ethics and Health Law at the University of Newcastle, and advises the NSW Ministry of Health through the Clinical Ethics Advisory Panel.
He has an interest in end of life, and has been involved in writing all the current NSW guidelines on end of life care and advance care planning.
Current research interests include the provision of ethics support in health care and the management of dying in acute care.
